A little farther from the urban area, Futuro Beach is a haven for surfers and visitors due to is beauty and crustal waters.
Nevertheless, Fortaleza has not only unforgettable natural attractions but also historic and cultural ones. Tourists must take some time to visit Teatro José de Alencar, Palácio da Abolição, Farol Velho do Mucuripe, Praça Portugal and Fortaleza de Nossa Senhora da Assunção – places full of local history. Another great attraction is Beach Park, one of the largest water park in Latin America.
